The Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities 

has paid attention to cooperation with design units in the capital city of Pyongyang 

and organs and enterprises concerned with the affairs of the disabled persons 

in order to ensure that public buildings and facilities are built 

in consideration of physical features and convenience of persons with disabilities.

As a result, exclusive passages, seats and toilets for the disabled have been provided not only 

in the newly-rebuilt welfare service amenities and transport facilities 

but in the enterprises and workshops where many disabled persons work.

조선장애자보호련맹 중앙위원회에서 평양시안의 설계단위들과 장애자관련 기관, 기업소들과의 련계밑에 

장애자의 신체상특성과 편의를 고려하여 공공건물과 시설물을 꾸리기 위한 사업을 진행하고있다.

이에 따라 새로 개건되는 편의봉사시설, 교통운수시설들과  장애자들이 많이 일하는 

기업소와 작업장들에 장애자전용통로와 전용좌석, 위생실들이 편리하고 문화적으로 꾸려졌다.
