The Ninth Session of the 14th Supreme People`s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea adopted 

the Law of the DPRK on the Provision of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on September 27, 2023.

The law stipulates important matters for fully guaranteeing the socio-political, economic and cultural rights of persons with disabilities 

and ensuring that they perform their responsibilities and roles as masters of the state and society.

For the past one year since its adoption, the persons with disabilities have enjoyed 

the benefits of the benevolent socialist system of the country which looks after them like a mother 

who cares more for her sick and wounded children. The Workers's Party of Korea takes full responsibility 

for and care of the destiny of all the people who are born on this land.  Under its warm care, 

the persons with disabilities are making a tangible contribution to the sacred struggle to open up a new era of building 

a prosperous power, while enjoying a happy life as genuine masters of the state and society.

2023년 9월 27일 최고인민회의 제14기 제9차회의에서는 조선민주주의인민공화국 장애자권리보장법이 채택되였다.

장애자권리보장법은 장애자들의 사회정치적, 경제문화적권리를 철저히 보장하며 

그들이 국가와 사회의 주인으로서의 책임과 역할을 다하도록 하기 위한 중요한 문제들을 규제하였다.

 장애자권리보장법이 채택된 때로부터 지난 1년간 장애자들은 병든 자식, 상처입은 자식을 탓하지 않고 더 마음쓰는 

어머니의 따뜻한 정이 비낀 장애자권리보장법을 펼쳐보며 고마운 사회주의제도의 혜택을 매일과 같이 느끼고있다.

 이 땅에 태를 묻은 사람이라면 그 누구든 운명을 전적으로 책임지고 보살펴주는 어머니당의 품속에서 장애자들은 

국가와 사회의 참다운 주인으로서의 행복한 삶을 누리며 부흥강국의 새시대를 열어나가는 성스러운 투쟁에 적극 이바지하고있다.
